WINTER WONDERS (CHRISTMAS MARKET!)
Brussels' mammoth event, Winter Wonders, features one of Europe's best Christmas markets. There are 240 wooden chalets dotted around the Place Sainte Catherine and the Grand'Place, an ice-skating rink, street entertainment, fun rides, live music and a big magic roundabout.
Don't forget to look up during Winter Wonders; Brussels' Grand'Place is illuminated like a giant Christmas tree and there's also a sound and light itinerary, with lights coming up from the pavement or through coloured posts which lead the visitor from the Place Sainte Catherine to the Marché aux Poissons and back.

THE SEQUENCE
The Sequence,an impressive wooden sculpture by Belgium artist Arne Quinze, 80 meter long and 15 meter high, is a must to see in Brussels. ‘The Sequence’ connects the Flemish Parliament with the House of Flemish Representatives, bridging the communication gap between people and generating movement in the city
